The first film the Sophomores created this year was a movie that showed they understood the basics of framing. The students had to write and storyboard a short movie that incorporated various camera angles and types of shots. The final products clearly expressed the knowledge of the students. The films were entertaining to watch as a class, and were well-executed. Below are a few stills from the movies, showing the different shots. 

Earlier this year the sophomore CAMPers spent 3 weeks working on Stop Motions. They worked in pairs to create a 2 to 5 minute movie. They took various still pictures, changing one small detail at a time, and combined the stills to produce a movie. Students used story boards to write an interesting story about whatever they chose. Below are a few finished products:

The sophomores did a project where they had to portray emotions using aspects like lighting and music. Here are some of the amazing videos that came out of it! 

  

This year the CAMP sophomores worked on highlight videos of different clubs and classes to put into the morning announcements. Each week another video is put at the end of the announcements. Each video shows a couple of clips of what the club does and why it is beneficial to help people to find which one is right for them. Here are a couple.

Final Score of the Bell Game was 35-20 Sundevils take the win. This video was made by CAMP students and was played at the Pep Rally in the GYM.

This year’s CAMP Freshman have been working on their Stop Motion projects for the past few weeks. We’ve enjoyed making them and we hope you enjoy watching! We put a lot of effort into these and it’s our first time making them. Stop motion is where you take about 20 pictures for only one second of video. Being about a minute to a minute and a half long videos, you can see how the amount of pictures start piling up. We came in, set up our board, set up our camera, and started taking shots. Then we put them all together, added some effects and there you have it. The ones you can see down here are what we thought were the best of the best. I hope as we get better we can share more interesting and fun ideas.
