Trip to Sitting Bull Middle School- January of 2016
AVHS CAMP helped students with Final Cut Pro. They taught them some tips and tricks!
CAMP students were: Samantha Solis, Taylor Valdes, Gabe Lopez, Blanca Mandujano, Jelly Contreras, and Zainab Zaidi. This community service project was spearheaded by Freshman, Samantha Solis, for her Career Pathway Academy SkillsUSA Project.
Students had to film an interesting subject to practice the techniques of slow motion.
Students had to create a 40 second film incorporating basic film elements such as different angles, camera movement, and an enticing storyline.
Thank you Mr. Ostlie senior for coming to do mock interviews for some of our CAMP juniors. Eleven students interviewed in front of the class and practiced their introduction and professionalism skills. The top students in three categories won prizes. The categories were best introduction, best non-verbal skills, and best overall interview (hired).
Mr. Ostlie gave the students valuable feedback that will help them with future interviews.
The winners.
